Design Elements

are the most

versatile images you can own.

Stamp and emboss some Design Elements on any scrap cardstock, and cut them out.

You have an instant collection of card elements or as some folks call them,

"Card Candy"

Design Element Stamps

Any Design Element image

makes a great background.

This background is simply stamped with Versamark ink, then dusted with Decorator Chalks

Add a watercolored image and you have a WOW card that looks like it was a lot of work!

This is one of my favorite

"techniques" of all time.

So easy to stamp the element with

Versamark to make the background,

then just attach a couple of the

same element from your collection

Use a pop dot on one and add fibers.

Easy, yet elegant.

Have some beautiful background papers

from another class laying around?

Cheap Tricks Class

Another easy card that looks like a lot of work, just pop an element on a great background

Paper Clay is so much fun.

In my experience, once you open a package of Paper Clay, you should use it all up quickly, as it either dries out, or if you keep it in a plastic bag, it can mildew.

Soooo,

Grab some ceramic tiles, and put small globs of clay on them, smoosh them down and stamp into them.

After the clay is completely dry, seal it with a spray or paint on varnish, then antique it with a watered down acrylic paint. Wipe off excess paint with a paper towel.

Make lots of these to add to your element collection
